People were transparent and open with me. People who sold their companies for hundreds of millions of dollars took a little time to pass it along to the new generation. In that spirit, we must be more transparent and open, otherwise everything descends into semantics and we all sit in our rooms making no progress. Or even worse, moaning about easily addressable things.
Revenue is vanity. Profits are sanity. Cashflow is King. A lack of profits is like cancer. It will kill you slowly. A lack of cash flow is like a heart attack. You die there and then. As the bank empties. So does your dreams of startup Nirvana.
