When Reuters came to SPARK and met Bastian

Reuters came and had a conversation with Bastian, it then syndicated the story amongst several news outlets across Africa.
From ENCA a large South African news station:
“A Nigerian company is on a mission to enrich the lives of tech-savvy entrepreneurs in the country who do not have the necessary means to break into tech-related industries.
SPARK is looking to capitalise on burgeoning Internet penetration in order to counter the infrastructural limitations and high business cost challenges that Nigeria presents. In doing so, the company believes that business people with unique ideas but minimal resources will be given a competitive advantage.
“There was a lot of young entrepreneurs who were trying but Nigeria is not an easy place to do business, it’s difficult to establish a company, talking to CAC takes three months, opening a bank account, running a generator… it’s not easy,” said SPARK co-founder Bastian Gotter.“
