One of the more quiet internet companies founded by Spark is Insured.ng — whereas the insurance market in Nigeria is still relatively small, insurance has to be one of the most completely confusing and opaque industries from a customer standpoint in Nigeria. The 2-person team (now 4 — we just doubled that last week) at Insured.ng is trying to improve the customer experience here in Nigeria. In short order, with little fanfare or marketing, Insured.ng has managed to become an emerging stakeholder in the industry. They have direct agency deals with over 40 insurance companies in Nigeria.
