Have some fucking respect for Nollywood.

<rant> So I was reading some dudes response to KULUYA’s $2Mn funding announcement. As I anticipated the digerati were rearing their heads talking about less than mediocre games, 50 bland titles rather than 5 great ones blah, blah fucking blah. The digerati in my opinion are usually almost-broke and / or bitter that lesser men than they have amassed great wealth without ‘mad innovation’. I try to always remind people ‘you can’t eat your social media buzzwords’ and they definitely can’t be used to fly upper class. But I digress. The digerati live in the future. They whip themselves into a frenzy on twitter about the upcoming release of S4 and whether its better than iPhone 5 or MTN vs Etisalat porting commercials. Who fucking cares. The rest of us focus on living in the present and building full scale multi-million dollar companies.
