Death by innovation

Finally. An awesome article on the realities of tech hubs and scenes across Africa. If you are interesting in tech startups in Nigeria (and Africa) please go across and read this. The most valuable startups I know in Nigeria are executing the pants off the opportunities they are exploiting. Innovation whilst executing rapidly is great. Innovation for innovation sake is the right path to eternal poverty.
The first wave of successful internet companies had boring ol business models after an initial build up period gushed cash flow. Perhaps we should spend a little more time focused on building those bad boys.
